10-04-2007 Ed Walsh from Leading Edge Engineering has been certified as a Sigmetrix CETOL Six Sigma Consultant. This is the highest level of certification available from Sigmetrix, the developers of CETOL, a tolerance analysis and optimization software.

09-25-2007 Leading Edge Engineering will present at the Safe Technology 2007 User Group Meeting. The presentation is titled "Finite Element Modeling and Analysis Techniques for Verity".

09-24-2007 Leading Edge Engineering has been chosen to present a half-day workshop at the 2007 Manufacturing Week which will take place from the 24th to the 27th of September.  The topic will be "Design for Six Sigma in a Virtual Product Development Environment". 

09-18-2007 Leading Edge Engineering will present at the SIMULIA Central Reginal User's Meeting. The presentation is titled "Integrating Abaqus into Knowledge Based Engineering Systems".

11-15-2006 Leading Edge Engineering will present techniques for central computational modeling at NAFEMS: Challenges and Best Modeling Practices for the Aerospace Industry Symposium in Anaheim.  Wayne Tanner of Leading Edge will present a multi-disciplined design, analysis, and optimization framework for air vehicle development.

11-14-2006 Leading Edge will be exhibiting at the 2006 North American Aerospace Design Expo in Anaheim California.  The Aerospace Design Expo brings together professionals from aerospace design & development to meet leading suppliers of technology and services.

09-27-2006 Leading Edge Engineering will present at the 2006 ABAQUS Central Region User's Meeting.  Leading Edge will present techniques for geometry scaling and automation within ABAQUS to allow for faster processing and solving of complex problems.  This is particularly important when using CAE tools to evaluate and compare multiple dynamic, general contact problems in a set based design environment.

06-05-2006 Leading Edge Engineering’s Ed Walsh will be one of the featured speakers at this years PTC User World Event in Dallas.  On behalf of Sigmetrix, Leading Edge will present a strategy that allows companies to develop more innovate products using Robust Design in a fully simulated CAE environment.

03-24-2006 Leading Edge moves offices to a new location at 222 South Morgan. The new West Loop location doubles Leading Edge's space while enhancing an already innovative environment.

02-15-2006 Leading Edge announces new Robust Design and Variation Analysis practice area. This practice area is an expansion of Leading Edge's existing Statistical Tolerance Analysis service offering. This practice area has been developed for manufacturers that are looking to reduce variation in the performance of their products. The services available can be used to support existing Design for Six Sigma programs or they can be used at discrete intervals throughout the product development process.

08-27-2003 Leading Edge Engineering signs sales representative agreement with Sigmetrix, LLC, developers of CETOL 6 Sigma. CETOL 6 Sigma is the leading tolerance analysis and optimization software for Pro/ENGINEER and CATIA CAD systems.

06-06-2003 Leading Edge Engineering signs agreement with SyMech, Inc. to allow Leading Edge to use SyMech Synthesis Software to develop mechanism solutions for Leading Edge customers.
